Measuring Feeding Trays

Students measure the remains of a feeding tray after it was left overnight near Jordanelle Reservoir. The students put pre-measured feed in the trays the day before and placed the trays near the river corridor in order to test animal foraging behavior.

I taught with Jenny today at the UGS and used the UGS' erosion trailer. We taught about models, the parts of streams, vegetation and its effects on erosion, mudslides, and wetlands. We also briefly talked about ground water levels with the trailer.
