RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research is centered on Pleistocene Lake Bonneville and indicators of paleoenvironmental change. I am also working on establishing a protocol for geoconservation efforts in the Great Basin.
Working with colleagues, teachers, and school children through WEST has given me a broader appreciation for the challenges faced by educators today. WEST has taught me to place my own understanding of science and nature in a context that is meaningful to people with varying backgrounds.
