In his second year of work on a doctorate in the Biology Department at the University of Utah, Seth studies ecosystem ecology.  His dissertation project examines the effect of urban air pollution on forest growth in the Wasatch Mountains.  Prior to moving to Utah, Seth earned a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Alaska in Anchorage where he studied how climate change effects tundra ecosystems of northern Greenland.
