RESEARCH INTERESTS
I love living in the Intermountain West and enjoy the mountains, lakes, and deserts that thrive here. I am a graduate student in meteorology and am studying temperature inversions in the Arizona Meteor Crater. My research interests include persistent cold air pools, air quality in mountain basins in valleys, orographic precipitation, and education on climate science and policy. I am excited to explore primary education with the WEST program and learn how to instill a passion for science and nature into kids.
