Measuring Feeding Trays

Students measure the remains of a feeding tray after it was left overnight near Jordanelle Reservoir. The students put pre-measured feed in the trays the day before and placed the trays near the river corridor in order to test animal foraging behavior.

RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am a geology student interested in hydrology and fluvial sedimentology. My research is currently focused on using LiDAR data to study stream channel adjustments and sedimentary structures on the shores of the Great Salt Lake.
    I have fond memories of the classrooms and field trips that inspired me to pursue an education in earth science, and it is my goal to offer a similar experience to students through WEST. I am looking forward to improving my communication skills in a hands-on teaching environment.
