    I'm a geologist whose research interests concern the application of stable isotopes in plant and animal tissues to questions about climate and paleoecology.  My work is so particularly interesting to me because it requires a wonderful use of geology, biology, and chemistry to reach a solution.

        WEST is an excellent opportunity for me to share my enthusiasm and love nature with the students and teachers of Salt Lake City.  I look forward to the challenge of becoming a better teacher and interacting in an environment that is open for learning and teaching.
