RESEARCH INTERESTS
I am currently a graduate student in the (relatively) new Master of Science and Technology program (PMST), focusing on Biotechnology, at the University of Utah. I recieved B.S. degrees in Biology and Anthropology here at the U. My interests lie in advancing medical techniques and technology, primarily through the use of genetic manipulation and gene therapies to develop new tests and treatments for patient care. Through the years I have frequently worked in science mentoring and tutoring programs and have enjoyed sharing my passion for all of the sciences with developing minds of all ages and backgrounds, including two children of my own. I am very excited to have the opportunity to learn from, and share ideas with, the students of Lakeview Academy for the coming year.
