Air Pollution in the Snowpack
WEST Fellows from the departments of Geology & Geophysics, Biology, and Atmospheric Sciences developed a project to analyze airborne pollutants in the snowpack in the Wasatch Mountains.  The goals of the project are:

1.  To work together to address a common problem from a variety of perspectives, drawing on each fellow's unique background and interests.

2.  To record the process of developing a hypothesis, data collection, analysis, and interpretation so that it can be used as a model for the scientific process in K-12 classrooms.
