FIELD OF STUDY
My primary interest is the investigation of the Earth's structure using seismology. Much of my work has specialized in mapping seismic structure of the deep mantle and developing numerical techniques to model seismic wave propagation. I model seismic waveforms for comparison with actual seismic recordings in order to define Earth's structure. Much of my past work has been devoted to the deep mantle, including waveform modeling of upper mantle structure in subduction zone structure and volcanic seismology.

RESEARCH INTERESTS & PROJECTS
• Global Seismic Structure • Core Mantle Boundary Layer Structure • 2 & 3 dimensional Seismic Wave propagation techniques • Scattering of the Seismic Wavefield • Array processing techniques • Volcano Seismology
