To develop, model, and implement strategies for managing the interactions between "geoantiquities" (the records of Earth system history) in areas of rapid urban growth. The product will be a science-based model that can feed into management and conservation plans. The study and subsequent models for geoantiquities can be applied to similar areas where urban growth intersects areas of valuable natural archives.
